Atrangi – our name says it all…strange, unique, different. Atrangi Productions is what happens when like – minded professionals come together to create communications tools that are effective. The films we produce are created from a synergy of creativity and technical excellence.
Our creative team is drawn from some of the best professional talent from the Industry, some of who work with us on project basis and others who work with us as full time project managers. We have experts with a good command over language as well as experienced directors, technicians, designers who translate copy into appealing visuals.

Our Team
A graduate in Mass Communication, Vikalp has been in the profession for more than a decade.
In this time, he has racked up an impressive CV. His body of work spans reality TV shows,
advertisements, corporate films, events and even teleshopping programs. Some of his work includes, Satyamev Jayate Season 2 (Episode nos. 1,3,7 & 9) on Star Plus, DID Supermoms Season 1 on Zee TV, Kaun Banega Crorepati on Sony TV, India’s Got Talent Season 3 on Colours TV, Gali Gali Sim Sim on Cartoon Network and Pogo. In the corporate sector, he has worked with brands like Securitas, Kings XI Punjab & ACC Cement, BMW X3, Jindal Steel & Power Limited, to name a few. His passion for exploring new territories and facing challenges had him branching out into doing events.
With over 30 years of experience, Nilendu has unique and in-depth perspective of television production
and content management. He is a producer, director, writer, cineaste and novelist who has honed his craft
through talent and hard work. He as been a catalyst that put Moving Pictures Pvt. Ltd. into the big league. During his time there, he clocked over 10000 hours of programming that included award winning TV series, corporate films, docu-series, documentaries, TVCs, travel shows, breakfast shows, animations etc. He went on to assume the posts of Creative Director, Channel 7 (IBN7) and then Sahara India Network, before serving a 5 year stint as the Executive Editor, Programming , TV Today Group, conceiving, writing and producing the biggest shows of the network.
A technically strong and aesthetically sound editor and animator, Sukhdev has been
active in film making for the past 15 years. His body of work cuts across all genres of
film making – from fiction to documentaries, from TVCs to animated educational films. His client list includes, World Bank, Airtel, Group M, Ministry of Home affairs, CIPAM, EUIPO, Ministry of Commerce, Percept Picture Company, Havells, Modi Group, Escort, DLF, Cine Matinee to name a few.
He made a series of 4 animated films on Intellectual Property Rights for CIPMA. In these films, he created the character of IP Nani who is now being used as the mascot for intellectual Property Rights by the Government of India.
Jahir is a skilled cameraman who ensures that each frame tells a story.
The lens of his camera has explored all genres of film making. His body of work includes
feature films like Shaadi Teri Bajaynge Hum Band, Tutiya Dil short films like Carnage, Next, F*male, music videos like Bad Wali Feeling, Akhiyan, Nazrbattu, to name a few. He has also worked for corporate clients like Nikon, Puma, Cox & Kings, and Maruti Baleno.
Amit is the logistics guy in the team. He has been working in the field of film making for more than 5 years. In this time, he has worked on feature films like Manorama – 6 Feet Under, Mere Khwabon Mein Jo Aaye, 99, Gods On Mountains, to name a few. Apart from these, he has also worked in the television and print medium.
